Published by admin on February 15th, 2008 | Tagged Sleep Disorders
Sleep Disorders and Age
Sleep disorders seem to be more common as people age. Even though we intuitively know that our good health and emotional well being depend upon getting enough rest, that is one disorder we may not get treated for. So just when people age, and become more vulnerable, they also are more likely to suffer sleep disorders. A Gallup pole found that 80 precent of senior citizens knew that sleep was essential to their good help. But the disturbing fact was that 53 percent of those people said that they reported sleep problems to their doctors and did not get any treatment!
Sleep Disorders And Health
Of course, if you do have a serious sleep disorder you should consult with a doctor. If the first doctor does not take your complaint seriously, then find another doctor who will listen. Healthy sleep is a wonderful asset to your emotional well being, ability to heal, and all around health!
Of course, natural sleep remedies also exist. Warm baths, warm milk, one glass of wine, or natural tissue salts may be an answer for you.

LOL. It seems like a lot of the people who are interested in natural solutions are in that famous baby boomer or over 50 set! Just a bunch of aging hippies? Well, maybe not. Anyway, if you fall into the over 50 set, I suggest you visit the Over 50 Website! The kids already rule Myspace and YouTube, so there is no reason you should not have your own place to surf too!
The site has articles on topics that are geared to mid-life people, including health, beauty, careers, finance, and entertainment. A new forum has just gotten started for mid-life people to chat. It isn’t reallly hopping yet, so you can still get in early on this community!

Comment now »How To Make Solar Energy Panels
Published by admin on May 25th, 2007 | Tagged Green Energy
Apparently people who own RVs are very interested in solar energy. When I think about it, that makes sense. They may not always have access to the grid, and besides, once they are set up, they can take advantage of free power wherever they go! It’s kind of a nice notion, isn’t it?
On RVTRADER, I found an interesting article about making solar energy panels. They concentrate on Solar Panels for RVs, but mention that kits can be purchased for home solar energy panels, and you can also buy cheaper solar energy kits for science projects.
There are two basic types of solar panels. Normal panels use solar energy to heat water for basic needs at home, or even for pools. The absorber converts the radiation from the sun into heat. The second type of solar panel, known as photovoltaic panels, converts light into electricity. These panels are normally installed on the roof. The electricity produced by these panels is directed to a battery, which serves as the electricity storage device. The battery can then supply all the electricity that your household needs.
We can help you find the most affordable solar panel kits by visiting our solar energy pages.

Published by admin on May 24th, 2007 | Tagged Green Energy
According to the Science Daily Website, the Federal government has released millions of dollars to fund solar energy research. The object of the studies is to make alternative energy sources more cost effective. They want to look at two important uses of solar energy - converting solar energy into electricity, and converting solar energy into chemical fuel.
It’s a great thought that someday our grandchildren may live not have to worry about power supplies, because power will come from a free and renewable resource! I am happy that, for once, they are putting my tax dollars to good use!
Until the day of universal renewable energy dawns (forgive the pun), you can still use solar energy to power everything from your laptop to your water heater! You may be surprised at the solar energy technology that is available to consumers with now. I know that I was surprised when I found SolarHome.org!
You can find solar energy kits - both for energy and educational use, solar panels, all sorts of solar battery chargers, pool heaters, and much more. Just about anything that runs on wall power or batteries, can be powered by the sun today! Check our page on Solar Homes!

Published by admin on May 18th, 2007 | Tagged Green Energy
I found a really need blog:
Be Green and Save: Living Off-Grid
It talks about whole communities which remove themselves from normal energy sources with a combination of solar energy, wind energy, and water (hydro electric) energy. It is interesting to me - that the more we go forward, the more we also look backwards. We have ways to harness the oldest sources of energy to produce more power, and these older ways can be used without damaging our environment.
After all, we may have progressed technologically over water and wind mills - but not so far that we don’t need the air to break. For practical solar energy supplies for your home - or as our searchers typo it - soler energy - visit our home solar energy pages!
